About DGA
Our architecture practice here at DGA feels perfectly normal and straightforward – we don’t consider ourselves more than reasonably talented or inspired – but when we look at what passes for ‘Architecture’ out there, and view our work in relation to the published mainstream, we realise that in some ways we are radical – a radicalism that comes from our approach, not from ideology, or genius, or even unique insight.
We try very hard indeed to make deeply beautiful buildings; ones which take seriously the unchanging realities of the relationship between humans, buildings and environment, balancing these with the equally powerful realities that condition the act of building here and now.
